From the time of the Pilgrims and wagon trains, the United States has always been a nation of migration. When people move, they are often chasing dreams of prosperity and freedom. Once the graduate has found a place to work, he may have a couple weeks or less to start the new job. There is a lot to do in that time. First, a person may want to ask the company that hired him about possible housing. Some large firms may have temporary housing connections. Create a Home Shopping List

People are forgetful, and that’s why it’s good to have written lists of all the items they may need in their move. Considering they may be moving form a dorm room or tiny apartment to a home with a bit more space, they may be able to include some luxuries. The first priorities should be clothing and bedding, along with bathroom and kitchen supplies. Then come the items for relaxation and entertainment like a stereo, barbecue grill, or skis. Important documents like car titles, passport, birth certificates, insurance information, and any pertinent diplomas or educational transcripts should not be ignored. It is far easier to plan ahead than try to remember where that car title is after moving 3000 miles away.
